Interpreter, Cantonese – Relocation to Thailand Required

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Thailand.

📋 Description

• Deliver precise and professional consecutive interpretation between Cantonese and English during live voice discussions.

• Facilitate effective communication between Cantonese-speaking and English-speaking individuals in various sectors, including healthcare, banking, legal, government, police, immigration, insurance, social services, and other vital services.

• Uphold accuracy, impartiality, professionalism, and confidentiality in all interactions.

• Actively listen and interpret information clearly, ensuring the original speaker's meaning and intent are preserved.

• Provide exceptional customer service during every engagement.

• Assist with video interpretation services upon successful completion of the three-month probation period.

• Adhere to company policies, procedures, quality standards, and interpreter protocols.

• Complete all necessary training and assessments prior to deployment.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in both Cantonese and English, especially in verbal and listening communication.

• A bachelor's degree with at least 2 years of full-time work experience; alternatively, candidates without a degree must possess a minimum of 5 years of full-time work experience.

• Willingness to relocate and be based in Thailand.

• Availability to work a permanent night shift.

• Strong verbal communication skills and active listening capabilities.

• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to convey information accurately.

• Previous experience in interpreting or customer service is beneficial but not mandatory.

• Must successfully pass a language assessment prior to joining the training program.

• Must complete the final assessment successfully after the training program.

• Must possess a reliable home internet connection with a minimum speed of 100 Mbps.
