International Student Recruitment Advisor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Provide support to high school guidance counselors and Independent Educational Consultants (IEC).

• Establish and cultivate relationships with prospective students and their families.

• Organize and implement recruitment and outreach events for students, their parents, and counselors.

• Offer advice and support to UBC in recognizing opportunities to enhance brand awareness, market visibility, and promote studying in Canada at UBC.

• Aid UBC in delivering effective advisory services via phone, email, virtual platforms, and in-person to prospective students, parents, and counselors.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 1 to 4 years of experience in fields related to higher education, international education, or university placement services.

• Experience in international student recruitment is considered a plus.

• Proficiency in public speaking and the ability to communicate with diverse audiences.

• Background in event planning or project management.

• Bachelor’s degree in any field, ideally in Business or a relevant discipline.

• Experience studying abroad or working overseas, especially in Canada, is an advantage.

• Spanish language skills are a plus.
