International Patient Classification Product Owner – Clinical and Economic Research

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Oversee, direct, prioritize, and manage the design and development of Clinical and Economic Research international patient classification, including the International Refined DRG grouping component and global mapping solutions.

• Support business product owners in advancing international IR-DRG payment solutions across various global markets and products, ensuring that revenue objectives are met or exceeded while operating within a matrix structure.

• Assist marketing and sales teams in understanding and articulating the value of methodologies and enhancements to foster growth.

• Enhance the impact and usability of solutions to improve payment accuracy and measure efficiency and quality for users across payer, provider, government, business partner, and non-profit clients.

• Lead a high-performing cross-functional team to ensure timely, full, error-free, and regulatory compliant maintenance, modifications, and enhancements for CER patient classification and global mapper solutions with a focus on IR-DRGs.

• Advocate for Scrum principles throughout the organization and consistently implement all aspects of Scrum across the departmental scrum teams.

• Collaborate with the research team to develop strategies that integrate the strength of categorical models with big data.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher from an accredited university with 7 years of experience in the health payer, software, or services industry in place of the bachelor’s degree requirement OR a High School Diploma/GED or higher from an accredited institution with a minimum of 11 years of experience in the health payer, software, or services industry.

• 4+ years of product owner experience in healthcare software or healthcare services development life cycle.

• 4 years of experience within a healthcare organization (e.g., government payer, provider, hospital, insurance company, healthcare consulting, software, research, or services firm).
