This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Provide guidance to cross-functional business stakeholders regarding financial laws and regulations.

• Create and negotiate strategic partnership agreements.

• Investigate and address legal and regulatory inquiries related to financial products.

• Represent the Legal team on cross-functional initiatives for the design of financial products.

• Evaluate advertising materials to ensure compliance.

⛳️ Requirements

• Juris Doctor degree from an ABA-accredited law school.

• Over 5 years of legal experience advising corporate clients on international financial products and services.

• Proven experience with financial services regulations in the UK, Ireland, Canada, and/or Australia.

• Demonstrated ability to lead negotiations and draft commercial agreements and consumer terms of service.

• Extensive knowledge of financial laws and regulations across various international jurisdictions.

• Experience managing the expansion of multiple financial products into new global markets.

• Expertise in the payments sector, excluding mortgage, auto financing, cryptocurrency, and investment products.

• Ability to thrive and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
