International Accounting Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.

📋 Description

• Configuration of the chart of accounts, posting groups, and analytics in Business Central.

• Migration of financial data (GL, AP, AR, bank, VAT) from legacy systems into BC.

• Support and development of FX revaluation processes, IC reconciliations, and IFRS AJE.

• Creation and optimization of month-end closing processes and financial workflows in BC.

• Full accounting cycle for legal entities: AP, AR, bank reconciliations, payroll, month-end close.

• Tax reporting (VAT Cyprus) and ensuring compliance with GAAP/IFRS across multiple jurisdictions (Cyprus, Estonia, UAE, Malta, UK).

• Integration and automation of financial processes (PSP, bank feeds, AI invoice parsing) along with improvements to routine processes.

• Documentation of accounting policies and processes (SOP, process maps) and support for team onboarding.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in international accounting, auditing, or finance (Big 4, consulting, or international tech experience is a plus).

• Practical knowledge of IFRS and experience with multi-entity / multi-currency accounting.

• Experience with ERP systems (Business Central, SAP, Oracle, Xero, or similar).

• Understanding of VAT compliance within EU jurisdictions; experience with Cyprus is an advantage.

• Experience managing the full accounting cycle (from opening balances to financial statements).

• English proficiency at Intermediate+ level (both written and spoken).

• Strong analytical and organizational skills, systematic thinking, and attention to detail.

• Proactive attitude and ownership mentality (not just task execution, but responsibility for outcomes).
