Internal Medicine Physician – Telemedicine

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.

📋 Description

• Carry out telemedicine consultations for acute cases involving patients with green or blue wristbands, referred by hospital triage (SNS), in collaboration with the local emergency service.

• Evaluate patients in an urgent care setting.

• Conduct differential diagnosis for acute presentations and offer suitable clinical guidance.

• Maintain high standards of clinical records, including consultation notes, diagnoses, and telemedicine-specific documentation.

• Accurately perform clinical procedures associated with telemedicine.

• Issue electronic prescriptions for medications, diagnostic tests, and medical certificates.

⛳️ Requirements

• Specialist qualification in Internal Medicine (essential).

• Current registration with the Ordem dos Médicos (Portuguese Medical Association).

• Clinical experience in treating patients with acute illnesses.

• Proficient in using digital platforms.

• Skilled in empathetic communication and maintaining a patient-centered approach.

• Availability to work shifts from Monday to Sunday, between 08:00 and 22:00.

• Previous experience in telemedicine and digital health projects (desirable).

• Immediate availability (desirable).
