Internal Control Analyst, S4HANA

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Assist local financial and operational managers in understanding and improving internal control environments, risks, and mitigation strategies.

• Perform in-depth analyses on risk areas and deliver training on controls.

• Implement MDLZ controls S/4HANA transformation initiatives by designing and creating test scripts for automated and digitalized controls.

• Evaluate the effects on continuous controls monitoring rules in SAP GRC that are used to oversee the operational effectiveness of the controls.

• Recommend necessary modifications to internal SAP configuration controls during and following the transition to S/4HANA.

• Create and develop test scripts for internal controls with an emphasis on automated configuration controls.

• Execute test scripts and coordinate testing efforts with other departments.

• Provide functional expertise and insights into the redesign of controls affected by the migration to S/4.

• Continuously evaluate and enhance internal control processes by identifying automation and digitalization opportunities within S/4HANA.

• Produce comprehensive documentation and offer training for IC teams on new controls and features in S/4HANA.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Risk Management, or a related discipline (a Master's degree or professional certifications such as CPA, CIA, CISA, or FRM is an advantage).

• Over 8 years of experience in financial reporting, internal audit/controls, risk & compliance, or SAP consulting within publicly traded companies.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with expertise in data analysis and/or modeling.

• Proficient in coding languages and tools utilized in SAP for risk management, including ABAP, SQL, or SAP Fiori applications.

• Extensive knowledge of SAP (including S/4HANA), its internal control framework, risk management tools, and reporting features.

• Capable of effectively engaging with all organizational levels and influencing outcomes and behaviors.

• Experience in project management for SAP implementation or migration projects.

• Ability to manage, develop, train, and influence a variety of stakeholders.

• Possess a growth mindset and a willingness to learn and acquire new skills.

• Familiarity with project management and software development tools such as JIRA, ServiceNow, or QTEST is a plus.

• SAP certification is a bonus.
