This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Missouri.
• Create and implement communication strategies for field audiences, translating intricate business updates into clear, timely, and actionable messages.
• Collaborate with business leaders and subject matter experts on communication intake, planning, content creation, audience targeting, distribution, and follow-up.
• Organize regular communications, leadership messaging, and special projects while overseeing communications calendars and scheduling.
• Act as the primary contact for intranet platform operations, collaborating with IT and cross-functional teams on enhancements, troubleshooting, and user experience improvements.
• Manage governance and administration of intranet engagement tools, including feedback channels, comment moderation, and two-way employee interaction.
• Assist with company-wide broadcasts, test streaming technology, and oversee communications during outages or business continuity situations.
• Direct the strategy and execution of audience segmentation.
• Track and analyze channel performance, site traffic, news engagement, and search behaviors.
• Oversee communications content governance, records retention, and archiving procedures.
• Support a network of over 250 intranet content contributors through training, guidance, governance, and continuous assistance.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience through a combination of education and related work experience.
• At least 5 years of related work experience.
• Strong expertise in technical and operational writing.
• High level of critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Capacity to connect processes with communications for field audiences.
• Experience in managing communications intake, workflow, and approval processes.
• Preferred: experience supporting field-facing or operational audiences in a large, matrixed organization.
• Preferred: knowledge in communications planning, editorial calendar management, and message development.
• Preferred: familiarity with intranet platforms, digital workplace tools, or communications technology; SharePoint experience is advantageous.
• Preferred: capability to streamline processes and develop scalable documentation.
• Preferred: strong judgment in prioritizing tasks, managing ambiguity, and knowing when to escalate issues.
