This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take charge of the internal communications strategy and the annual editorial calendar that aligns with business and personnel priorities.
• Develop and oversee the internal communications operating model, which includes channel strategies, governance standards, intake and prioritization processes, and approval workflows.
• Act as a trusted communications advisor to senior leadership; craft executive messaging that includes organization-wide announcements, scripts, presentations, and content for senior leader and all-employee meetings.
• Facilitate effective communication from leaders and managers by providing clear message cascades, ready-to-use toolkits, FAQs, and suggested talking points.
• Guide change communications for significant initiatives such as organizational shifts, policy updates, system rollouts, and business transformations.
• Produce high-quality written and multimedia content for internal channels such as emails, newsletters, intranet content, webinars, leadership forums, and video scripts.
• Manage and enhance internal communications channels and the intranet, ensuring that content is accurate, accessible, well-governed, and pertinent to employees.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with HR, IT, Legal, and business teams to plan and execute timely, effective internal communications.
• Establish internal communications KPIs and monitor reach, engagement, and channel effectiveness; leverage insights and feedback to continuously enhance impact.
• Integrate employee feedback and engagement survey insights into communication strategies and storytelling.
• Lead internal communications during sensitive or high-stakes situations, ensuring that messaging is timely, clear, and compassionate.
• Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, public relations, or a similar field.
• Over 5 years of experience in internal or employee communications within a complex or distributed organization.
• Proven track record in developing and scaling internal communications strategies, governance, and editorial operations.
• Strong capability in change communications and experience in supporting organizational or operational transformations.
• Outstanding writing, editing, and storytelling abilities.
• Experience in collaborating with senior leaders and supporting executive-level communications.
• Familiarity with managing internal communications platforms such as intranets (e.g., SharePoint), email systems, and collaboration tools.
• Excellent planning, prioritization, and project management skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Ability to manage confidential and sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion.
• Native-level proficiency in both written and spoken English.
