This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado, +1 more state.
• Lead the execution of comprehensive strategic communications and change initiatives.
• Provide guidance to internal clients on communication strategies, processes, messaging, budgeting, and effectiveness.
• Assist in the management and implementation of AI agents for routine communication tasks and automated workflows.
• Formulate business-specific tactics and communication strategies that align with the company's vision, business-unit priorities, and audience requirements.
• Create, compose, edit, and design internal communications through various channels including intranet, email, executive messaging, print, video, webcasting, and podcasts.
• Oversee and contribute content to the enterprise-wide editorial and communications calendar.
• Ensure timely production and distribution of communication materials.
• Collaborate with internal teams to produce weekly internal newsletters.
• Highlight external awards and recognitions internally and identify internal stories suitable for external audiences.
• Update business partners on key initiatives and progress towards goals.
• Support internal meetings, events, and community relations efforts.
• Ensure internal communications reflect inclusivity and represent a diverse workforce.
• Revamp internal communications processes and editorial-calendar management to enhance efficiency.
• Analyze the scope of change, evaluate change readiness, and identify potential risks or resistance.
• Generate reports and analyze data to aid decision-making.
• Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, organizational change, marketing, or a related field, or equivalent years of experience.
• Equivalent experience: one year of relevant professional experience for each year of college requested.
• At least 2 years of experience in internal communications, corporate communications, or digital marketing.
• Demonstrated experience or strong aptitude with Generative AI (LLMs) and workflow automation tools such as Gemini, ChatGPT, Jasper, Zapier, or proprietary AI agents.
• Proficient in AI-assisted copywriting, content creation, and channel management.
• Advanced skills in data visualization tools.
• Strong familiarity with Mailchimp, Google Templates, ContactMonkey, Workshop, and Poppulo.
• Solid understanding of Google Sheets and data analysis/manipulation for distribution lists.
• Portfolio showcasing successful communication campaigns, including newsletters, social media posts, podcasts, or SMS strategies.
• Capability to analyze challenges, generate reports, and interpret data for informed decision-making.
• Ability to evaluate change readiness and identify potential risks or resistance.
• Competence in handling moderately complex tasks adhering to industry best practices and regulatory standards.
• Capacity to complete projects with general supervision while tracking milestones and deliverables.
• Ability to mentor entry-level professionals or support staff.
• Meet physical requirements, including occasional lifting of up to 10 pounds, prolonged sitting, repetitive hand and wrist motions, effective spoken and oral communication, and near-range visual acuity.
