Internal Audit Analytics Associate

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Conduct comprehensive data analysis to evaluate the effectiveness of IT and security controls utilizing intricate, reusable SQL queries against Snowflake and other internal data platforms.

• Assess system and model modifications by verifying their compliance and performance impact while documenting the outcomes.

• Generate precise data extracts and reports from various sources.

• Convert complex audit data requests into clear, actionable requirements and deliverables.

• Evaluate ETL processes from production systems to the data repository and from the repository to enterprise tools.

• Ensure data completeness and accuracy at every stage of the pipeline.

• Design and improve metrics dashboards that measure the performance of IT and security systems.

• Collaborate with Engineering, Security, and IT stakeholders to collect audit evidence and convey findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a data analytics position within a technology, consulting, financial institution, or fintech environment.

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related discipline.

• Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries and managing large datasets in Snowflake.

• Understanding of query optimization and reusable coding patterns.

• Familiarity with IT operations, security infrastructure, cybersecurity programs, and enterprise technology stacks.

• Experience in testing or validating data ETL workflows, including checks for completeness and accuracy throughout the pipeline stages.

• Responsible use of generative AI with human oversight.
