Internal Audit Analyst (Mid-level) – Regulatory and Operations Focus

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Conduct internal audits targeting operational, regulatory, and technology processes (including US GAAP and SOX requirements), in coordination with area management;

• Engage in audit planning and execute audit tests, ensuring adherence to both Brazilian and international standards;

• Develop workpapers and audit reports with clarity and technical precision, aiding in the translation of findings and recommendations to various business areas;

• Evaluate the design and operational effectiveness of internal controls, emphasizing risk mitigation, compliance, and the integrity of information for both Brazilian and foreign regulators;

• Oversee the execution of action plans stemming from audit findings, performing ongoing follow-up;

• Assist in initiatives aimed at aligning the control and governance framework with capital market demands and preparing for IPO readiness;

• Attend meetings with audited departments, suggest enhancements, and foster a culture of compliance and operational excellence;

• Collaborate on digital transformation initiatives and projects within the audit function.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, IT, or related disciplines;

• Strong experience in internal/external auditing, internal controls, or compliance, preferably within financial institutions, fintechs, or regulated entities;

• Familiarity with regulatory and/or financial reporting audits, risk assessment, and internal controls evaluation.
