Coding Auditor – Ambulatory, Professional Coding, Profee

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Accountable for auditing coders and/or performing "audit the auditors" to ensure a coding accuracy of at least 95% is achieved.

• Execute quality checks and audits on visits coded according to client Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

• May contribute to the development of audit reports and provide direct feedback to coders and auditors.

• Analyze and present a summary of findings to leadership in a clear, concise, and persuasive manner.

• Uphold a high level of professional and ethical standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 2 years of prior experience as a professional/profee/ambulatory coding auditor.

• More than 3 years of experience in coding professional/profee/ambulatory accounts.

• Advanced expertise in the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Visio, SharePoint).

• Excellent oral and written communication abilities.

• Current permanent work authorization in the United States is mandatory.
