Internal Auditor, Senior

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Plan, implement, and report on internal audits encompassing financial, accounting, operational, and technology processes.

• Evaluate adherence to internal policies, accounting standards, laws, regulations, and relevant regulatory requirements.

• Assess the effectiveness of internal controls while identifying risks, vulnerabilities, and areas for improvement.

• Draft audit reports that include recommendations for risk mitigation and enhancement of internal controls.

• Oversee the execution of action plans and confirm the efficacy of corrective measures.

• Assist during external audits and regulatory inspections by supplying evidence and addressing findings.

• Engage in ongoing improvement of processes, internal controls, and corporate governance practices.

• Provide guidance to company departments on subjects related to internal audit, internal controls, and risk management.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

• Intermediate proficiency in English (reading, writing, and speaking).

• Experience in internal auditing, financial auditing, internal controls, or risk management.

• Familiarity with accounting, financial, and operational processes.

• Understanding of audit methodologies, risk management principles, and internal control frameworks.

• Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

• Experience in preparing executive reports and presentations.

• Strong analytical skills, critical thinking abilities, and capacity to identify risks and opportunities for improvement.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage across various organizational areas.

• Strong organizational abilities and capability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
