This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• You discover startups that are yet to gain recognition — often located in rural regions, away from conventional platforms.
• You develop a keen ability to identify emerging and exciting founding teams.
• Engage in active research through LinkedIn, local networks, universities, funding programs, and events.
• Identify potential startups that align with our program criteria.
• You will serve as one of the initial points of contact for many founders at Founders Bay.
• Proactively reach out, initiate conversations, and guide teams through the application process.
• First contact and outreach conducted via email, LinkedIn, etc. — including cold outreach.
• Conduct initial and qualification calls with founding teams.
• Build and nurture relationships with key founder communities and local networks.
• Organize incoming applications and assist in tracking candidates — who aligns, who doesn’t, and the reasons why.
• Evaluate and pre-qualify incoming applications based on defined criteria.
• Maintain and document records in the CRM (Notion / Airtable).
• Collaborate with us on automation efforts.
• You are currently enrolled at a university as a registered student or have preliminary experience in high-growth startups or similar high-performance settings such as strategy consulting, investment banking, or venture capital.
• You possess a strong interest in impact trends, innovation, and technology.
• Excellent communication skills and a willingness to approach new individuals — even without a prior introduction.
• You enjoy working independently and are highly focused on results.
• Familiarity with tools such as Claude, Perplexity, Make / n8n, Notion, and Slack.
• An affinity for impact topics, innovation, and rural areas is advantageous.
• You contribute to building something meaningful — aiding in the development of the next generation of impactful startups.
