Intern – Policy

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Conduct a semester-long research project and generate a policy memo.

• Investigate and evaluate the dynamics in nations facing or at risk of mass atrocities. Create written materials related to the prevention or response to mass atrocities in these situations.

• Assist in outreach efforts to policymakers on thematic issues of mass atrocity prevention and response, as well as on specific cases.

• Help track policy outreach to important stakeholders.

• Aid in the organization of private or public gatherings.

• Take comprehensive notes during interviews and meetings.

• Perform additional tasks as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree (as a junior or senior at the time of application) or a graduate degree from an accredited institution.

• A strong passion for genocide and mass atrocity prevention, demonstrated through relevant coursework, research experience, and/or professional exposure.

• Exceptional communication and teamwork abilities.

• Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
