This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Conduct a semester-long research project and generate a policy memo.
β’ Investigate and evaluate the dynamics in nations facing or at risk of mass atrocities. Create written materials related to the prevention or response to mass atrocities in these situations.
β’ Assist in outreach efforts to policymakers on thematic issues of mass atrocity prevention and response, as well as on specific cases.
β’ Help track policy outreach to important stakeholders.
β’ Aid in the organization of private or public gatherings.
β’ Take comprehensive notes during interviews and meetings.
β’ Perform additional tasks as assigned.
β’ Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree (as a junior or senior at the time of application) or a graduate degree from an accredited institution.
β’ A strong passion for genocide and mass atrocity prevention, demonstrated through relevant coursework, research experience, and/or professional exposure.
β’ Exceptional communication and teamwork abilities.
β’ Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
β’ Engaging work environment with opportunities for professional development.
β’ Hands-on experience in policy research and advocacy.
