This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.
• Assist in the development and upkeep of scalable backend applications and web services.
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams in an agile and dynamic environment.
• Engage in requirements analysis and participate in Agile/Scrum team ceremonies.
• Partner with diverse teams to design and implement software solutions.
• Create scalable and maintainable backend applications and services utilizing .NET technologies.
• Refactor, troubleshoot, debug, and enhance existing applications.
• Contribute to the stability, performance, and continuous improvement of systems.
• Develop and sustain technical documentation throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Take part in code reviews and uphold engineering best practices.
• Over 5 years of experience in backend software development.
• Extensive experience in developing backend applications and web services using .NET 8 and ASP.NET Core.
• Advanced expertise in C# (up to version 12).
• Strong background in designing and developing REST APIs.
• In-depth understanding of microservices architectures.
• Practical experience with SQL and relational databases.
• Familiarity with unit and integration testing.
• Experience with NServiceBus or similar messaging frameworks.
• Solid understanding of Docker and containerization concepts.
• Participation in code reviews, maintaining high engineering standards.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, preferably Azure.
• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Proactive attitude with a capacity to learn quickly and adjust in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience in Agile/Scrum teams.
• Upper-Intermediate level of English.
• Desirable: Experience with NoSQL databases.
• Knowledge of Redis or other in-memory data storage solutions.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps.
• Experience with logging/monitoring tools (DataDog).
• Understanding of authentication and authorization models (IdentityServer).
• Experience in the fintech sector.
