This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
β’ Develop business opportunities and cultivate the skill set of the team.
β’ Deliver comprehensive production of engineering designs, drawings, and specifications for a variety of civil projects, including new municipal utilities, road construction, bridges and culverts, water and wastewater systems, and infrastructure enhancements.
β’ Oversee projects from inception to completion, which includes client interactions, budgeting, scheduling, and overall project coordination.
β’ Transform preliminary concepts and sketches into engineering designs, plans, and project information requirements, utilizing Civil 3D and other necessary technical software.
β’ Coordinate and aid in the preparation of documents required for approvals, prepare construction cost estimates, tender documents, and contracts, as well as collaborate with team members to ensure adherence to schedules, budgets, and quality control standards.
β’ Support construction management and contract administration, which includes conducting field reviews and safety leadership visits.
β’ Offer technical mentorship and guidance to junior engineers and technical staff.
β’ Collaborate with other team members to ensure that schedules, budgets, and quality control standards are consistently met and maintained.
β’ Bachelorβs degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution with over 6 years of relevant civil design experience.
β’ Active registration as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng. or eligibility for registration) in British Columbia.
β’ Proven experience in managing engineering projects, including professional accountability for designs, scheduling, budgets, and client communications.
β’ Strong interpersonal, client, and project management skills.
