This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.
• Design and sustain smart contracts, on-chain logic, and services that link platform components to blockchain functionalities.
• Contribute to the blockchain developer tooling layer (MCP servers, chain APIs) that supports AI Agent and platform teams.
• Work collaboratively with the team lead and senior engineers on technical design aspects.
• Take ownership of feature implementation from the design phase through testing and deployment.
• Engage in code reviews and create automated tests.
• Ensure quality across both on-chain and off-chain components.
• Diagnose transaction failures, contract interaction problems, and integration bugs within distributed systems.
• Document implementation specifics and assist in creating technical diagrams as necessary.
• 2-4 years of experience in blockchain development, focusing on smart contracts, dApps, on-chain logic, or blockchain services.
• Proven experience in implementing and testing smart contracts in production or near-production settings.
• Strong grasp of blockchain principles (transactions, wallets, gas models, on-chain state, contract interactions).
• Experience with direct blockchain interactions (contract calls, event handling, transactions, and error recovery).
• Familiarity with blockchain developer tools or integration layers (SDKs, MCP servers, chain interaction APIs).
• Solid engineering fundamentals (clean coding practices, testing, and debugging of distributed systems).
• Proficiency in at least one backend programming language and API development.
• Experience with Docker and applications based on microservices.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, including conveying technical trade-offs.
• Drive to develop profound expertise in blockchain technology.
• Experience in building backend services using Node.js/TypeScript or Python (preferred).
• Practical experience utilizing AI-assisted development tools (Cursor, Claude Code) (preferred).
