Blockchain Engineer – Ecosystem Research, Business Exploration

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Arab Emirates (UAE).

📋 Description

• Investigate and test blockchain applications across various business contexts, creating prototypes and tools to effectively validate concepts in real-world scenarios.

• Conduct research on on-chain ecosystems, protocols, and emerging trends to pinpoint where BNB Chain infrastructure can more effectively meet actual business demands.

• Compile findings into concise technical reports and strategic recommendations for the BNB Chain core team.

• Collaborate closely with protocol and product teams to ensure that research insights inform infrastructure decisions.

• Remain updated on advancements within the broader Web3 ecosystem, including protocols, applications, and business models.

⛳️ Requirements

• 1–5 years of engineering experience, with a strong foundation in backend or systems development (Go, Rust, or Python preferred).

• Basic understanding of blockchain functionality — including transaction lifecycle, smart contracts, EVM, or equivalent concepts.

• A curiosity-driven mindset: comfortable with ambiguity, enthusiastic about exploring new areas, and capable of learning through hands-on experience.

• Ability to organize research findings and communicate them effectively.

• Self-motivated and capable of working independently in a fully remote environment.

• Nice to Have

• Practical experience with any blockchain ecosystem (BNB Chain, Ethereum, Solana, etc.).

• Familiarity with DeFi, trading infrastructure, payments, AI applications, or other on-chain business sectors.

• Experience in on-chain data analysis or smart contract development.

• Background in quantitative analysis, data engineering, or financial systems.
