Intermediate Front-End Vue Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and platform teams to design and create front-end views for web applications that align with product coding and design specifications.

• Build and sustain robust, responsive, and scalable front-end features in Vue.js applications utilizing reusable and maintainable UI components.

• Effectively apply Vue 3 core concepts, including Bootstrap Vue for component libraries, Pinia/Vuex for state management, and Vue Router.

• Connect front-end applications with backend APIs seamlessly.

• Manage form validation, loading states, and error handling proficiently.

• Convert intricate Figma designs into high-quality, pixel-perfect, semantic HTML/CSS.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of professional experience in front-end web application development within a production setting.

• Some post-secondary education in computer science or software engineering, or a comparable level of work experience.

• Fluent communication skills in both written and spoken English.

• Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, ES6+, and Bootstrap 5.

• Strong expertise in Vue 3, including experience in developing greenfield Vue 3 applications using the Composition API and Vite.

• Advanced understanding of CSS3 and modern layout techniques (Flexbox, Grid).

• Familiarity with front-end testing frameworks such as Vitest, Jest, and Vue Test Utils.

• A foundational understanding of web service technologies (REST, SOAP, Web Sockets, OData).
