Intermediate FP&A Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Become a member of a dynamic team in one of the most rapidly expanding areas of software—cybersecurity.

• Perform intricate financial modeling, forecasting, and variance analysis to foster strategic business development.

• Collaborate with cross-functional leadership (Sales, Operations, Marketing) to deliver actionable insights.

• Manage the annual budgeting process and utilize advanced data tools to enhance financial predictability.

• Contribute significantly to business expansion by overseeing the B2C Business Unit products (IPVanish, StrongVPN, LiveDrive, etc.).

• Create and sustain advanced rolling forecasts to maintain financial transparency.

• Lead the comprehensive bottom-up budgeting process, ensuring strong alignment.

• Implement thorough variance reporting by comparing monthly actuals with budget and forecast.

• Establish and track essential business health KPIs, including CAC, LTV, Churn Rate, and EBITDA margins.

• Work alongside department leadership to enhance cost efficiency by pinpointing structural inefficiencies and suggesting strategic savings.

• Utilize AI-driven techniques for predictive trend analysis and optimize recurring reporting workflows through advanced Excel automation.

• Design and oversee dynamic dashboards to convert complex datasets into accessible insights for cross-functional collaborators.

• Act as an ERP steward by executing advanced SQL queries across enterprise systems to retrieve data.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting is required;

• An MBA or professional certification (CFA/CPA) is highly preferred.

• Over 4 years of progressive, hands-on experience in a corporate FP&A setting.

• Expert-level skills in Excel (including VBA and Power Query) with a proven history of applying financial modeling best practices.

• Strong understanding of modern data stacks for predictive financial data science.
