Intermediate DevOps Engineer, GCP

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Designing and executing cutting-edge strategies for provisioning, configuring, and managing GCP infrastructures and services.

• Creating highly automated solutions for deployment and management tasks utilizing leading-edge tools and technologies.

• Actively monitoring and enhancing the performance of GCP resources to guarantee availability and reliability.

• Spearheading the adoption of DevOps best practices to facilitate continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) of applications and services.

• Investigating and incorporating new GCP features and technologies to further refine our cloud infrastructure.

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to foster a culture of innovation within DevOps.

• Documenting architectures, processes, and solutions while sharing insights with the team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

• A minimum of 3–5 years' experience in configuring and managing GCP cloud services and infrastructures.

• Profound understanding of CI/CD pipelines and extensive experience with advanced tools such as Jenkins, CircleCI, or Spinnaker.

• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and advanced knowledge of tools like Terraform or Google Deployment Manager.

• Advanced skills in Linux and/or Windows system administration.

• Programming experience in at least one of the following languages: Python, Go, Ruby, or Java.

• A creative mindset for developing innovative solutions and tackling technical challenges.

• Strong teamwork and communication abilities.

• GCP Professional or Associate certifications are a plus.
