This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead the gathering of requirements from end-users related to interface, data conversion, and/or data cleansing activities.
• Perform design reviews.
• Set acceptance criteria.
• Comprehend business processes and create process maps as necessary.
• Offer functional support and aid in documenting requirements, detailed design specifications, data conversion and cleansing plans, interface control documents, and user stories based on the requirements.
• Analyze data from legacy and target systems.
• Carry out reconciliation activities.
• Coordinate across various development efforts to ensure that system interfaces and/or data conversion and cleansing decisions align with requirements, expectations, and regulations.
• Collaborate directly with programmers, database administrators, and other technical professionals.
• Work with other interface/business analysts to gain insights into the organization’s processes and legacy system data.
• Under the mentorship of senior subject matter experts, build expertise in the COTS tool, Federal financial management business processes, and ERP implementation best practices.
• Create test scenarios and documentation, and conduct validation testing for interfaces and/or conversion requirements.
• Monitor, track, and troubleshoot application operations and data, analyzing incidents and collaborating with the technical team to resolve issues.
• Prepare materials and train end users on interface, data conversion, and/or data cleansing requirements.
• Establish quality assurance standards and processes for validation and verification efforts.
• Apply software development best practices.
• Identify and implement process improvement initiatives.
• May manage and mentor junior resources.
• US citizenship is mandatory.
• Bachelor’s Degree along with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience as a business systems/interface analyst.
• Must be able to pass a Tier 2 MBI background investigation.
• Experience in supporting the development of interfaces and/or large-scale data conversions.
• Familiarity with the Momentum Financials front-end and database.
• Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team to solve problems.
• Self-motivated.
• Capacity to manage multiple and shifting priorities while meeting deadlines efficiently and effectively.
• Willingness to work additional hours as necessary to meet tight deadlines.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies is preferred.
• Ability to write and execute SQL statements is preferred.
