This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the complete lifecycle of interface development, which includes gathering requirements, designing, building, testing, implementing, providing go-live support, and ensuring ongoing maintenance.
• Work collaboratively with application teams, vendors, and business stakeholders to establish interface requirements and address integration-related challenges.
• Coordinate interface testing, cutover planning, and go-live activities to guarantee successful deployments.
• Collaborate with interface engine developers to create data translation and transformation logic that supports EHR and third-party system integrations.
• Proactively monitor production interfaces and drive permanent resolutions of interface issues through root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Analyze integration workflows and data to pinpoint opportunities for optimization and enhanced performance.
• Create and maintain documentation for interfaces, testing plans, and support procedures.
• Assist with upgrades, enhancements, and evolving organizational needs as additional responsibilities arise.
• Bridges Certification is required and must be upheld as a condition of employment.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Statistics, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience is necessary.
• A minimum of 6 years of experience in an IT, systems integration, or interface-related position.
• Experience in supporting healthcare application integrations and facilitating data exchange between clinical systems and external partners.
• Strong analytical, technical, and troubleshooting abilities in complex integration environments.
• Capability to analyze data, identify root causes, and effectively communicate solutions.
• Understanding of how business and operational requirements translate into technical integration designs.
• Robust coordination and project management skills across various teams and vendors.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Capacity to excel in a fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environment.
• Preferred experience in supporting Epic Bridges interfaces.
• Preferred experience with HL7 messaging, interface engines, and healthcare interoperability standards.
• Preferred experience in supporting EHR integrations and third-party vendor connectivity.
• Preferred experience in coordinating testing, cutover, and go-live activities for complex healthcare technology initiatives.
