Intercambio English Teacher for Adults

📋 Description

• Teaching English: Utilizing Intercambio’s relationship-focused adult online ESL curriculum, Confidence and Connections, online educators are responsible for planning and delivering English lessons to individual learners.

• Online Teachers leverage the Intercambio Learning System to facilitate interactive, enjoyable, and engaging lessons, while fostering a collaborative learning atmosphere.

• Fostering Cultural Connections: Online educators embody the “Intercambio Way,” which encourages opportunities for both learners and teachers to share and learn from each other’s cultures, perspectives, experiences, and traditions during the process of learning and teaching English.

⛳️ Requirements

• Currently enrolled in classes as part of a Southern New Hampshire University (SNHU) degree program.

• Work-study included as part of the financial aid package.

• A strong passion for community building, teaching English, and supporting learners in their success.

• Possess patience, empathy, a positive mindset, and a commitment to lifelong learning.

• Basic computer skills to utilize a video conferencing platform, akin to Zoom, for conducting online classes (must have a functioning camera and microphone).

• There is no requirement to speak any language other than English.

• Previous teaching or tutoring experience in English is not necessary.
