Integration Specialist – Payments

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Support the integration of new payment providers and methods.

• Review and assess API documentation from payment providers.

• Set up payment methods and configure provider settings within the back-office system.

• Conduct testing of payment processes, including deposits, withdrawals, refunds, and transaction status updates.

• Validate API requests, responses, callbacks, and webhooks.

• Utilize Postman and internal tools for testing integrations and troubleshooting issues.

• Analyze transaction logs to identify integration or configuration challenges.

• Liaise with payment providers on technical inquiries and integration concerns.

• Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, account managers, and other internal teams.

• Create and update integration documentation, setup guides, and testing outcomes.

• Monitor integration tasks and issues reported in Jira.

• Assist in investigating failed, declined, or inaccurately processed transactions.

• Oversee existing integrations and aid in the resolution of production issues.

⛳️ Requirements

• Fundamental understanding of REST APIs, HTTP requests, and client-server interactions.

• Basic familiarity with JSON and the structures of API requests/responses.

• Experience with Postman or similar API testing tools.

• Knowledge of callbacks, webhooks, and transaction statuses.

• Strong analytical skills and problem-solving capabilities.

• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work with technical documentation.

• Proficient written and verbal communication skills.

• English proficiency at a minimum of B2 level.

• Capability to handle multiple tasks while adhering to established deadlines.
