📋 Description

• Construct and sustain integrations among key enterprise systems such as Salesforce, CPQ, NetSuite, Workday, Marketo, Snowflake, and other relevant business applications.

• Create data pipelines, automate workflows, and implement reverse ETL-style synchronizations that enable GTM, Finance, People Ops, and various teams to work with reliable data.

• Convert business requirements into integration designs, data mappings, and implementation strategies that are scalable, observable, and easy to maintain.

• Diagnose data synchronization problems, schema discrepancies, API errors, and workflow anomalies across diverse systems.

• Establish robust error handling, logging, alerting, validation, rollback, and documentation practices for essential business workflows.

• Collaborate with Finance Systems and GTM Systems stakeholders on Lead-to-Cash, Quote-to-Cash, order management, billing, and reporting workflows.

• Work alongside People Ops and IT stakeholders on employee lifecycle and identity-related workflows that require precise, automated data movement between enterprise systems.

• Record integration designs, dependencies, runbooks, and operational procedures to enable the team to grow beyond reliance on individual expertise.

• Uphold integration platform standards for API usage, data modeling, monitoring, and production readiness under the supervision of the Lead Integration Engineer or hiring manager.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3–5+ years of experience in integration engineering, software engineering, business systems engineering, or a similar backend systems role.

• Practical experience with an iPaaS platform (e.g., Workato) to develop or maintain integrations across enterprise SaaS systems, ideally including Salesforce, NetSuite, Workday, Ashby, Marketo, Snowflake, or similar platforms.

• Familiarity with modern API patterns and authentication concepts, such as REST, SOAP, GraphQL, OAuth, SAML, SCIM, and other relevant integration standards.

• Proficiency in writing scripts in Python, JavaScript, or a comparable language to manage transformations, validation, orchestration, or automation tasks.

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to methodically analyze logs, data mismatches, failed synchronizations, and edge cases.

• Ability to communicate tradeoffs to non-technical stakeholders and the capability to push back when a proposed solution may lead to fragility, governance concerns, or unnecessary technical debt.

• Comfort working in a fast-paced environment where requirements can be unclear, priorities may change, and systems are still evolving.

• A preference for practical execution while also valuing the creation of repeatable patterns, documentation, and operational safeguards.

🏝️ Benefits

• Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance.

• Retirement benefits with a 401(k) match of up to 4%.

• Flexible paid time off (PTO).
