Integration Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Oversee the design, development, and implementation of data integration solutions within Palantir Foundry and associated data platforms.

• Design and execute comprehensive data pipelines, encompassing ingestion, transformation, validation, and delivery of both structured and unstructured data.

• Create and uphold ontology models, data schemas, and relationships to facilitate analytics, search, and operational use cases.

• Merge data across various systems and platforms utilizing scalable and secure methodologies.

• Work in collaboration with cross-functional teams to guarantee smooth system interoperability and data integrity.

• Establish data validation, quality assurance, and governance processes.

• Assist in the development of AI-driven functionalities by ensuring high-quality, well-structured data pipelines.

• Function within an Agile delivery framework, partaking in sprint planning, backlog refinement, user story creation, and the iterative delivery of technical solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship is mandatory.

• A Bachelor’s degree is required.

• At least FIVE (5) years of experience in data engineering, system integration, or platform engineering roles.

• Extensive hands-on experience with Palantir Foundry (required), which includes:

• Constructing and managing data pipelines.

• Developing ontology/data models and relationship mappings.

• Integrating data across multiple systems.

• Experience with Palantir AIP (Artificial Intelligence Platform) (required).

• Familiarity with integrating Palantir with AWS cloud services, particularly S3-based ingestion.

• Experience utilizing Databricks and Apache Spark for scalable data transformation.

• Proficiency in Python, Java, or Scala, along with strong SQL skills for data transformation and querying.

• Experience with both structured and unstructured data.

• Solid understanding of data modeling, schema alignment, and metadata management.

• Demonstrated ability to lead technical workstreams, mentor junior personnel, and collaborate across teams.
