Integration Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assisting in the Integrated Healthcare Transformation initiative at the Department of Veterans Affairs.

• Collaborating with development and user teams to evaluate risks, establish objectives, and ensure that requirements are fulfilled throughout the design and construction phases.

• Identifying and implementing new infrastructure while minimizing disruptions.

• Overseeing technical elements of significant federal projects and providing expertise in network IT and MEP system designs.

• Conducting construction forensics and consistently addressing project risks and requirements at each phase.

• Evaluating program success, outcomes, and initiatives for performance improvement.

• Assisting in the management of projects and programs to boost productivity and performance.

• Creating and contributing to program reports, briefings, and documentation for both internal and external stakeholders.

• Partnering with VHA leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure program goals align with the healthcare needs of Veterans.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in Engineering, Construction Management, Facility Architecture, Computer Science, or a related field.

• At least 10 years of experience, including a background in engineering and construction project/program management.

• Proficiency in both qualitative and quantitative analytical skills to evaluate and assess operational effectiveness.

• Capability to manipulate data to present program status and offer recommendations for enhancing business processes.

• Experience in clinical informatics and familiarity with SAFe’s Lean Agile principles and practices.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for report generation and stakeholder engagement.

• Proficient in the MS Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.).
