Integration Controller – CSP

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead the financial integrations following acquisitions, collaborating directly with newly acquired companies.

• Manage the mapping and alignment of the chart of accounts across different entities.

• Prepare and facilitate the opening balance sheets for each acquisition.

• Oversee system cutovers and the onboarding process for ERP systems.

• Enhance month-end close processes and standardization throughout portfolio companies.

• Identify and resolve legacy accounting issues and process deficiencies in acquired businesses.

• Assist in the preparation of purchase price allocation (PPA) schedules, which include fair value adjustments and entries for opening balance sheets.

• Cultivate expertise in ASC 805 (purchase accounting) — prior experience is not required, but a willingness to learn is crucial.

• Collaborate cross-functionally with deal, diligence, and accounting teams to ensure smooth integrations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.

• Over 8 years of experience; experience in public accounting and as a controller is advantageous.

• CPA designation is preferred.

• Background in M&A transactions is necessary.

• Strong understanding of GAAP is essential.

• Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Experience with a variety of financial technology applications is highly preferred.

• Team-oriented with a passion for growing and scaling a business over the next 5-10 years.

• High learning agility and a strong desire to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

• Impeccable integrity.

• Ability to proactively engage with multiple stakeholders; excellent communication skills are a must.

• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
