Integration & Automation Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Develop and sustain integrations between CRM, finance, communication, and various business systems.

• Write and manage code for integrations, automation, data processing, and reporting tasks.

• Collaborate with REST APIs, webhooks, JSON, authentication protocols, and third-party integrations.

• Extract, transform, validate, and transfer data among business systems.

• Create solutions using programming languages such as Python, Node.js/JavaScript, C#, Java, or PHP.

• Diagnose integration issues and implement sustainable solutions.

• Extract data from CRM platforms utilizing APIs and other data sources.

• Construct scheduled processes to gather and store data in relational databases.

• Design and manage database tables while writing SQL queries, joins, and data transformations.

• Generate datasets for historical reporting, trend analysis, and reconciliation purposes.

• Build or enhance scheduled reports and business dashboards.

• Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and traceability of reporting data to source systems.

• Design, build, test, and maintain business process automations.

• Utilize tools such as Zapier, n8n, Make, Power Automate, or similar for automation.

• Maintain and enhance existing automations and integrations.

• Choose coded solutions or automation platforms based on their reliability and scalability.

• Implement validation, error handling, logging, monitoring, and alert systems.

• Investigate and resolve failures in production workflows.

• Support practical AI integrations, including LLM APIs and AI-assisted workflows.

• Identify opportunities to minimize repetitive manual tasks.

• Document integrations, workflows, databases, and technical processes effectively.

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to convert business requirements into technical solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Around 3–6 years of professional experience in software development, backend development, integration engineering, data engineering, RPA development, or related fields.

• Proven programming experience, preferably established prior to the widespread use of AI coding tools.

• Solid coding fundamentals in at least one programming language, such as Python, JavaScript/Node.js, C#, Java, or PHP.

• Practical experience with SQL and relational databases.

• Proficiency in designing database tables and handling queries, joins, and structured datasets.

• Familiarity with REST APIs, webhooks, JSON, and system integrations.

• Experience in building scheduled processes that extract data from APIs or business systems and deposit it into a database.

• Professional experience with at least one automation platform like Zapier, n8n, Make, or Power Automate.

• Proven ability to troubleshoot and maintain systems or automations in a production setting.

• Strong problem-solving capabilities and independence in work.

• Desirable: Experience with Zapier; Pipedrive or other CRM platforms; dashboard and BI tools like Power BI, Metabase, Looker Studio, or Grafana; Python for data processing and automation; AI model APIs such as OpenAI, Claude, or Gemini; professional services or experience within the Australian business landscape.
