Integrated Photonics Technical Leader

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Collaborate closely with the entire PIC team focused on silicon photonics and III-V device designs.

• Engage in the design, simulation, layout, and testing of photonic components and circuits.

• Work in partnership with the millimeter wave design team, packaging team, and module hardware/software/optics testing team to develop comprehensive products.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree with over 12 years of experience, a Master’s degree with over 8 years, or a PhD with at least 5 years of industry experience in optical engineering, electrical engineering, material science, physics, or related disciplines.

• Proficient in solid-state physics, integrated photonics, and opto-electronics.

• Familiarity with photonics numerical simulation principles and tools, such as FDTD, HFSS, COMSOL, etc.

• Experience in the process and fabrication of photonic devices.

• Knowledge in photonic device layout and tapeout.
