This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead the formulation of integrated, full-funnel media strategies that align with client objectives and contemporary media behaviors.
• Advocate for audience-first planning by guiding team members in audience segmentation, tool utilization, and activation strategies.
• Maintain ownership of the strategic point of view in client discussions, collaborating closely with strategy, analytics, and creative teams to ensure alignment of messaging, media, and measurement.
• Offer direct oversight and mentorship to junior planners and associates, ensuring their deliverables are precise, accurate, and insight-driven.
• Assist in the evolution of planning frameworks, internal documentation, and agency-wide best practices that can scale effectively.
• Act as a reliable point of contact for key clients — providing recommendations, strategic viewpoints, and performance analyses with clarity and confidence.
• Aid in defining KPIs and establishing comprehensive measurement plans for all campaigns.
• Oversee and guide the creation of campaign recaps, reports, and optimizations; identify performance trends and convert data into actionable insights.
• Supervise the planning team’s output across multiple accounts; review media plans for accuracy, strategic alignment, and cross-channel integration.
• Manage timelines, deliverables, and team workloads in conjunction with project managers and channel leads.
• Cultivate a collaborative atmosphere where media planners feel supported, challenged, and motivated to grow.
• Train and mentor junior team members — assisting them in learning to “think like strategists” and present with confidence.
• Proficient in utilizing a variety of tools for planning, measurement, and insights (e.g., Resonate, MediaRadar/Vivvix/Kantar, Nielsen, Traffic Lift, etc.).
• Solid understanding of performance media channels — including Paid Search, Social, Display, Streaming Video/CTV, Audio, Native, and Linear TV.
• Ideal candidates possess 4–6 years of media planning experience in an agency or a fast-paced media environment, including at least 1 year in a supervisory or mentorship capacity.
• Strong client communication abilities and experience in cross-functional collaboration are essential.
