This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance the global inventory allocation strategy.
• Execute allocation cycles and manage exceptions; align planned supply with demand, implement fair-share logic, and handle escalations.
• Set up and oversee allocation and inventory policies, encompassing service levels, safety stock, minimum order quantities (MOQ), lead times, and economic order quantity (EOQ).
• Assess inventory health and initiate corrective action plans involving rebalancing, substitutions, and transfers.
• Conduct root cause analysis on stockouts and delayed orders; disseminate action plans.
• Manage back order reporting and communicate supply risks with the Business Unit.
• Monitor and report monthly global demand planning performance against Integrated Business Planning (IBP) baselines.
• Create and maintain dashboards for forecast accuracy and bias.
• Identify demand variations and suggest adjustments to models or parameters.
• Collaborate with Demand Planners and Sales to enhance signal quality and consensus inputs.
• Assist in the execution of the IBP cycle from Demand Review to Executive Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP).
• Standardize and document process artifacts, templates, standard operating procedures (SOPs), roles and responsibilities (RACI), data definitions, exception codes, and policies.
• Foster cross-functional alignment on plans, trade-offs, and executive decisions; ensure decisions are tracked to closure.
• Promote lean, digital, and automation enhancements.
• Collaborate with the Center of Excellence on strategic initiatives.
• Develop and automate reports that capture allocation effectiveness, demand attainment, service levels, fill rate, backlog, expedites, and cost-to-serve.
• Create scenario analyses for managing constraints, changes in allocation policies, and demand surges.
• Provide ad hoc analysis for commercial priorities, new product introductions (NPI) ramps, inventory forecasts, end-of-life strategies, special programs, and supply disruptions.
• Convert insights into quantified recommendations related to service, revenue, margin, and cash flow.
• Ensure master data accuracy and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs), thresholds, and alert systems.
• Oversee back order projections for both manufacturing and commercial back orders.
• Act as a liaison between commercial, supply planning, quality, and logistics teams.
• Provide accurate updates and insights during IBP meetings.
• Raise risks and suggest mitigation strategies.
• Participate in daily Sales & Operations Execution (S&OE) and weekly Operations, Quality, Maintenance, and Materials meetings; identify risks, negotiate trade-offs, and drive decisions.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Industrial Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• 3–5+ years of experience in S&OP, Demand Planning, Supply Planning, or Inventory Management within a multi-region setting.
• Proficiency in planning systems such as SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP), Oracle, Kinaxis RapidResponse, o9, Anaplan, or equivalent.
• Advanced knowledge of Excel, Power BI, or Tableau.
• Strong analytical skills; familiarity with SQL, Power Query, or Python is a bonus.
• Experience in creating dashboards and automating reports.
• Capability to manage cross-functional processes, handle escalations, and present to senior leadership.
• Understanding of inventory optimization principles, including service levels, safety stock, EOQ, and ABC/XYZ analysis.
• Knowledge of forecast quality metrics such as MAPE, WAPE, and Bias.
• Experience with global product portfolios and multi-plant/multi-distribution center networks.
• Familiarity with channel/customer allocation.
• Understanding of constraint-based planning, Available-to-Promise (ATP)/Capable-to-Promise (CTP), and fair-share allocation logic.
• Preferred: APICS/ASCM certification (CPIM, CSCP) or equivalent.
• Experience with demand sensing, Point of Sale (POS) integration, and lifecycle/NPI forecasting.
