This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Manage communications through inbound and outbound calls, emails, voicemails, faxes, and chat.

• Perform intake assessments and connect new patients with suitable LifeStance providers.

• Schedule initial appointments and record patient requirements, including talk therapy and medication management.

• Gather insurance details and confirm eligibility and in-network benefits.

• Collect and verify clinical history, demographic information, insurance details, and eligibility.

• Retrieve credit card information for records while ensuring compliance.

• Guide patients in setting up their portal and completing new patient documentation.

• Process and oversee referral documentation.

• Precisely log patient interactions and transactions in the EHR system.

• Reach out to referral sources, patients, and provider offices to gather information for benefits verification and prior authorizations.

• Contact current patients to initiate new services based on internal and external referrals.

• Respond to inquiries regarding new patient appointments and referrals.

• Assist with incoming emergency calls and adhere to crisis call protocols.

• Undertake additional tasks assigned by management to enhance the efficiency of the intake department.

• Adhere to policies, regulations, and compliance standards, including HIPAA and PCI.


⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent is mandatory.

• Bachelor's degree is preferred.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a contact center and/or healthcare setting.

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, internet usage, and email communication.

• Previous experience with Electronic Health Record systems is advantageous.

• Clear understanding of insurance-related terminology is essential.

• Fluency in English is required; Spanish fluency is preferred.

• A quiet, distraction-free, dedicated HIPAA-compliant workspace in a remote setting.

• High-speed, hard-wired internet access is necessary.

• Capability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a dynamic environment.

• Ability to sit, stand, bend, talk, hear, and walk as required.

• Capacity to lift and/or move items weighing up to 25 pounds.
