Insurance/Claims Associate

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Manages the insurance requirements for each matched surrogate, including maternity, accidental death, complication, and bedrest coverage.

• Collaborates with third-party insurance brokers to secure policies and provide medical documentation to assist in the underwriting process.

• Interacts with clients and vendors to effectively oversee and finalize financial and insurance-related tasks associated with the client’s journey.

• Works closely with vendors to facilitate medical claim resolutions and payments.

• Processes payments for insurance and medical claims via escrow.

• Reviews and audits medical claims to ensure the correct amounts are disbursed.

• Guarantees that standards and requirements are satisfied for every match.

• Coordinates with internal teams, including Sales, Legal, and Operations, to prioritize and execute tasks, while addressing customer-facing issues promptly and satisfactorily.

• Conducts financial analysis as needed.

• Ensures all records are entered in a timely manner with accurate coding, maintaining consistency among QuickBooks Online, Salesforce, and Escrow systems.

• Represents ConceiveAbilities with a warm and exceptional service approach through outstanding communication and follow-up.


⛳️ Requirements

• Associate's degree or two years of relevant insurance or claims experience.

• Previous professional experience in healthcare is advantageous.

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

• Exceptional attention to detail.

• Proficient computer and data entry skills.

• Strong organizational abilities, with multitasking and time-management skills.

• Proven success in working with various vendors, processes, and systems.

• Proficiency in Excel is mandatory.

• Experience in medical billing and claims is preferred.
