This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Analyze and manage intricate bodily injury claims related to auto and commercial transportation by assessing coverage, conducting investigations, determining liability, and evaluating damage scope.
• Assess coverage, investigate liability, and oversee damages to ensure timely resolutions that align with service expectations, industry standards, and specific client needs.
• Handle complex claims for both auto commercial and personal lines, including bodily injury, ensuring that claim files are accurately documented and correctly coded.
• Oversee the litigation process for claims that are under dispute.
• Coordinate vendor management, including engaging independent adjusters to assist in the claims investigation process.
• Report significant claims to excess carriers.
• Develop and maintain action plans to meet state-required contact deadlines and facilitate the prompt and appropriate resolution of claims.
• Identify and pursue opportunities for subrogation and risk transfer; manage salvage procurement and disposal.
• Communicate claims processing and actions with insured parties, clients, and agents or brokers when necessary.
• Perform additional responsibilities as assigned, supporting the organization's quality initiatives.
• A minimum of five (5) years of claims management experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
• Comprehensive knowledge of personal and commercial auto policies, coverages, principles, and applicable laws.
• A bachelor's degree from an accredited institution is preferred.
• Professional certification relevant to the line of business is preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, including strong presentation abilities.
• Proficient in PC usage, including Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to function effectively within a team-oriented environment.
• Must obtain and maintain the state adjusting licenses necessary for the role.
