This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.
β’ Oversee the effective rollout of new products, pricing strategies, and underwriting initiatives on both state and national levels.
β’ Uphold discipline in loss ratios and risk tolerance while driving profitable growth in designated markets; ensure that forecasts and business goals reflect current and anticipated market conditions.
β’ Efficiently manage catastrophe risk and concentration risk as the organization aims to achieve its growth targets.
β’ Examine key competitors and their strategies; disseminate insights throughout the organization to formulate effective market strategies and enhance competitive intelligence tools.
β’ Regularly assess product performance and make data-informed choices to maximize results; propose KPIs and metrics to refine performance tracking.
β’ Confirm that all products align with customer needs and expectations; integrate customer feedback into product development and enhancement.
β’ Collaborate across functions with underwriting, marketing, sales, IT, and operations teams to execute cohesive and impactful product initiatives.
β’ Ensure all products adhere to applicable regulatory requirements and standards.
β’ Recognize and create cross-functional process enhancements that improve both efficiency and effectiveness.
β’ Bachelorβs degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, Actuarial Science, or a related discipline; an MBA or advanced degree is preferred.
β’ At least 10+ years of experience in product management, actuarial, finance, or related positions within the insurance sector; a minimum of 5+ years in homeowners insurance is required.
β’ Demonstrated success in product launches and strategic initiatives.
β’ Comprehensive understanding of personal lines insurance and reinsurance, including trends, regulations, and the competitive environment.
β’ Strong leadership and team management capabilities; adept at motivating and guiding cross-functional teams towards shared objectives.
β’ Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills; adept at leveraging data to inform strategic decisions.
β’ Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities; skilled at clarifying complex issues for partners and stakeholders.
β’ Innovative thinker with a dedication to creativity, continuous improvement, financial insight, and regulatory awareness.
