Insurance Agent

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Generate quotes, bind, and issue new auto and home insurance policies

• Assess client accounts to pinpoint coverage gaps and potential cross-selling opportunities

• Oversee renewals, endorsements, and policy rewrites

• Deliver clear explanations of policies, provide claims assistance, and maintain ongoing client support

• Keep precise records in the Agency Management System

• Seek out and initiate new business prospects

• Handle and manage incoming calls

⛳️ Requirements

• Active New York Property & Casualty License is mandatory

• At least 2 years of experience in a New York independent insurance agency

• Familiarity with the Capital District region is advantageous

• Strong self-motivation and accountability for working in a fully remote setting
