This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Diagnose and resolve intricate LMS configuration problems that exceed standard course-level troubleshooting.
β’ Analyze inconsistencies in blueprint synchronization and pinpoint underlying causes.
β’ Investigate issues related to gradebook behavior, permissions conflicts, and disruptions in workflow.
β’ Interpret outputs from the browser console and identify JavaScript-related challenges affecting LMS functionality.
β’ Conduct sandbox testing for updates and configuration changes to LTI tools, ensuring integration behavior is validated prior to production deployment.
β’ Document system-level defects and escalate findings, providing detailed technical context.
β’ Review vendor documentation to identify potential impacts on configurations.
β’ Develop and maintain focused Python scripts for retrieving, validating, and reporting backend API data.
β’ Execute structured data manipulation to support LMS-related reporting and workflow.
β’ Ensure data accuracy for course copies, integration synchronizations, and automated processes.
β’ Monitor and troubleshoot automated scripts according to established standards.
β’ Test and validate Canvas theme modifications in non-production settings, identifying conflicts related to CSS, JavaScript, or accessibility.
β’ Provide advanced Tier II/III instructional technology support and act as an escalation resource for Instructional Technologist II personnel.
β’ Deliver advanced training on LMS functionalities and instructional tools.
β’ 4β6 years of progressive experience in supporting LMS platforms.
β’ Advanced working knowledge of LMS configuration and platform behavior.
β’ Proficient understanding of JavaScript sufficient to diagnose integration and UI-related issues.
β’ Bachelor's degree required or equivalent professional experience.
