Instructional Systems Designer – Remote

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Deliver educational and training mission assistance to the Defense Health Agency (DHA)

• Organize and lead subject-specific working groups focused on training development

• Create comprehensive design documents and storyboards for online training

• Assist subject-matter experts (SMEs) with the ADDIE framework and principles of adult learning

• Perform thorough reviews of literature, research, and existing courses as required

• Provide support to the eLearning SME with Learning Management System (LMS) responsibilities

• Help in consolidating and presenting course evaluation metrics

• Partner with instructional designers, SMEs, e-learning developers, and editors to develop system training resources

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline is preferred

• At least 2 years of experience in the curriculum design field

• Ability to successfully complete a DOD background investigation; current DOD background investigation is preferred

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel

• Experience with SharePoint is highly desirable

• Proficiency in tools such as: Articulate Storyline, Adobe Suite, Adobe Captivate, Storyblocks, Snagit, WellSaid, and Asana
