Instructional Multimedia Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Develop multimedia assets for educational experiences, which include product demonstration videos, animations, motion graphics, visual aids, presentations, GIFs, and reusable templates.

• Collaborate with Technical Education Developers to convert learning objectives, scripts, and technical concepts into impactful visual learning experiences.

• Apply visual design principles and adult learning theories to enhance clarity, engagement, and information retention.

• Utilize AI-driven tools and workflows to expedite content creation, prototyping, and multimedia development while upholding quality standards.

• Create and edit video-based educational content, encompassing screen recordings, annotations, captions, voiceovers, and motion graphics.

• Establish reusable visual systems, templates, and standards that promote consistency across courses, the Academy platform, and Community experiences.

• Contribute to visual branding and user experience within Varicent Academy (Docebo) and Varicent Community (Gainsight).

• Conduct quality reviews to ensure multimedia assets adhere to standards for accessibility, usability, accuracy, and learner experience.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in creating multimedia, visual, video, or motion design assets for educational, enablement, or software-related environments.

• Advanced expertise in Figma and experience in developing scalable design systems and visual assets.

• Familiarity with AI-enhanced creative workflows to optimize design, multimedia production, prototyping, or content creation processes.

• Strong grasp of visual design principles, such as typography, hierarchy, layout, composition, and user experience.

• Capability to translate intricate concepts into straightforward visuals that aid learner comprehension and lessen cognitive load.

• Experience working alongside subject matter experts, instructional designers, or cross-functional stakeholders to execute multimedia projects.

• Excellent communication, presentation, and feedback integration skills, with the ability to articulate design choices and iterate effectively.

• Proficiency with tools like Camtasia, Vyond, Articulate Storyline/Rise, ElevenLabs, Claude, or similar multimedia and educational technologies.
