Instructional Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Work collaboratively with CX stakeholders to perform needs assessments, determine learning objectives, and select suitable learning strategies for the CX team.

• Design, develop, and launch a wide range of instructional materials, including digital learning resources, presentations, tutorials, videos, job aids, and other tools, utilizing instructional design principles and best practices.

• Craft interactive and engaging learning experiences that accommodate various learning styles and preferences.

• Carry out learning evaluations to assess the effectiveness and impact of learning interventions, from initial reactions to final results.

• Continuously refine and enhance instructional materials based on feedback from facilitators, insights from learning evaluations, and needs analysis data.

• Keep informed about industry trends and emerging technologies in instructional design and adult learning to guide the creation of innovative learning solutions.

• Partner with external vendors and collaborators as needed to supplement in-house knowledge and resources.

• Offer guidance and support to internal teams and stakeholders on instructional design principles and best practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, Learning Sciences, or a related discipline.

• Demonstrated experience (3+ years) in instructional design, e-learning development, and conducting instructor-led training.

• In-depth understanding of instructional design principles, adult learning theories, learning evaluation methods, and instructional technology tools and platforms.

• Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS) and content management systems (CMS).

• Proficiency with Articulate Storyline, Rise, and Reach is preferred.

• Experience with Vyond or similar software is a plus.

• Exceptional project management abilities, capable of managing multiple projects concurrently while adhering to tight deadlines.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the capacity to work effectively alongside cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

• Robust analytical skills, leveraging data to shape learning strategy and execution.

• Creative problem-solving abilities and a passion for crafting innovative learning solutions.
