This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs), leadership, and stakeholders to determine training requirements and establish learning objectives.
• Simplify intricate processes and business rules into straightforward, actionable learning content.
• Develop multimedia components for training materials, incorporating gamification techniques, videos, audio, infographics, handouts, worksheets, presentations, and instructional guides.
• Create storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps to effectively convey design and interaction concepts.
• Choose the most suitable instructional strategies to blend instructor-led and/or self-directed techniques tailored to specific learning needs, applying adult learning principles.
• Establish measurable, observable, and specific learning objectives for courses and resources.
• Ensure that training materials conform to operational standards and facilitate consistent implementation.
• Upload, organize, and maintain training content within the Learning Management System (LMS).
• Oversee course updates, 508 compliance, and version control to guarantee accuracy and accessibility.
• Develop and execute methods for assessing training effectiveness (e.g., assessments, surveys, performance metrics).
• Analyze feedback and data to pinpoint gaps and promote continuous improvement.
• Assist trainers and Operations teams in preparing for instructor-led training, virtual instructor-led training, and coaching sessions.
• Ensure that all training materials are up-to-date, accurate, and aligned with standardized processes and business rules.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Instructional Design, Education, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in designing and developing a diverse range of learning solutions.
• Experience in task analysis and the capability to convert complex processes and requirements into easily comprehensible terms.
• Familiarity with instructional design methodologies for creating courses focused on systems and process training.
• Strong analytical and organizational abilities.
• Capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Exceptional skills in instructional design.
• Ability to work collaboratively and as part of a team.
• Experience in community long-term support services, financial management services, or related sectors.
• Proficiency in compiling, organizing, and presenting information clearly and succinctly.
• Skills in assessing the training needs of functional units and researching relevant topics for course development.
• Experience with Articulate 360 or similar software for design and development.
• Familiarity with learning management systems such as UKG Learning LMS or comparable platforms.
• Strong creative writing skills for instructional texts and audio scripts.
• Experience in consulting with leadership to identify optimal learning solutions.
• Ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
• Proficient in effective written and verbal communication in a business context.
• Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in applying instructional design principles in the creation, development, and delivery of training.
• Ability to manage learning development projects using project management tools and methodologies.
• Proficiency in learning technologies that support educational development and implementation, including LMS, virtual classroom delivery tools, and educational development software like Articulate, Captivate, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, screen capture, and audio/video technology.
• Experience in facilitating instructor-led training sessions is a plus.
