This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with curriculum developers, subject matter experts (SMEs), and the instructional design team to create, enhance, and implement dynamic instructional materials, courses, and programs.

• Utilize established instructional design frameworks (such as ADDIE and backward design) to ensure alignment between learning objectives, activities, and assessments.

• Create engaging learning activities, assessments, modules, and multimedia content that foster learner engagement and facilitate knowledge application.

• Ensure that instructional materials comply with accessibility standards (e.g., ADA, Section 508, Universal Design for Learning) and embody inclusive practices.

• Aid in assessing the effectiveness of instructional materials and suggest enhancements based on feedback and data analysis.

• Offer training, resources, and support to instructors and staff regarding instructional technologies and effective teaching and learning practices.


⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in instructional design and development.

• Solid understanding of instructional design models, adult learning theory, and assessment methodologies.

• Familiarity with learning management systems and digital authoring/multimedia tools.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Capability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.

• A Master’s degree in instructional design or a related field is preferred.
