This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +3 more states.
• Create, develop, and execute learning solutions and curriculum materials for instructor-led, self-paced training, mobile learning, as well as video and audio-based training as required.
• Produce high-quality learning content utilizing well-established instructional design methodologies (ADDIE, ARCS, Bloom’s, etc.).
• Conduct needs/job analyses and effectively convey development needs across all organizational levels.
• Collect and analyze data to identify the most suitable and impactful learning methods for varied work groups.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts, stakeholders, business sponsors, and learners to ensure that learning objectives are achieved.
• Present complex information using effective instructional methods.
• Evaluate training effectiveness and suggest necessary adjustments.
• Monitor employee performance and assess training outcomes.
• May propose training methodologies.
• May engage in system administration and course upkeep, including the Learning Management System (LMS).
• Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 4-7 years of experience in designing training programs for adult learners in a professional setting (commercial or corporate).
• Preferred certification in Information Mapping/DocuTools.
• Training project management skills with a focus on needs analysis, scope definition, time estimation, and execution.
• Proven critical thinking skills to review and interpret data.
• Proficient in graphic/user interface/interactive design.
• Familiarity with applications such as Adobe Creative Suite (PhotoShop, Illustrator, Bridge, Premiere, InDesign, AfterEffects, etc.).
• Experience with Articulate 360 (Storyline 360, Rise, Studio 360, Replay, etc.).
• Knowledge of Snagit 2018 or newer.
• Proficient in Camtasia 2018 or newer.
• Skilled in Microsoft Office Applications.
• Experience with online graphic design tools, such as Venngage, Canva, etc.
• Understanding of HTML, ActionScript, or application/gaming design.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal abilities.
• Self-motivated and a proactive individual.
• Capable of managing multiple tasks and responding swiftly to urgent issues.
• Preferred instructional design certification from a recognized organization (ASTD, eLearning Guild, Langevin, etc.).
