Instructional Aide, English

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.

📋 Description

• Support grading and course administration for Universal Learner Courses (ULC).

• Oversee and assess assignments.

• Offer constructive feedback to learners regarding in-class activities and assignments.

• Assist learners in overcoming obstacles within the Universal Learner Course.

• Engage in multiple initial 1-hour virtual training sessions, along with additional calibration sessions as required.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree and three (3) years of relevant experience in the designated field; OR, a suitable combination of experience and/or training that demonstrates equivalent knowledge, skills, and abilities.

• A strong commitment to promoting educational equity for scholars in underserved communities.

• Exceptional skills in engagement, team-building, and communication.

• Prior teaching experience is advantageous, with a preference for candidates who have worked with high school students.

• Background as a tutor and/or experience promoting student success.

• Familiarity with Canvas or a similar Learning Management System.

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Capacity to thrive in dynamic or challenging situations.

• Knowledge of content and/or coursework in a relevant field.

• Dedication to providing consistent support to students.

• Proficient in English, having completed ENG 101, ENG 102, ENG 105, or an equivalent course.
