This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Execute professional installations of cinema projectors, audio systems, digital signage, control systems, pro A/V, DVLED systems, museum exhibits, and interactive rides, along with related equipment.
• Integrate proprietary control systems within audio-visual settings.
• Conduct pre-installation site assessments, stage equipment, and carry out post-installation testing and commissioning.
• Safely operate at heights using scaffolding, ladders, lifts, and other elevated access tools.
• Work closely with project teams to ensure adherence to installation timelines and quality standards.
• Test electronic assemblies, components, and systems utilizing ohmmeters, voltmeters, ammeters, oscilloscopes, and automated testing equipment.
• Troubleshoot basic firmware and software configuration issues during the installation process.
• Maintain daily documentation of installation activities, including work descriptions, expenses, hours, labor, and travel.
• Provide customer training and deliver handover documentation along with basic customer orientation.
• Take initiative and perform additional duties as assigned.
• Travel 75% or more domestically and possibly internationally.
• Offer weekend, holiday, and on-call support as necessary.
• High school diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
• An associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school is preferred.
• A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in AV installations, including cinema projection and audio systems.
• Familiarity with Q-SYS platforms and other AV control systems is preferred.
• Comfortable working at heights using scaffolding, ladders, and lifts.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs repeatedly.
• Capable of sitting, standing, climbing, pushing, pulling, bending, and kneeling for extended periods.
• Possess a valid, state-issued driver’s license and reliable transportation for local work as required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
• A self-starter who can work autonomously or collaboratively within a team.
• Proven ability to deliver outstanding customer service.
• Experience with digital cinema equipment is highly preferred.
• Proficient in MS Office, Windows operating systems, and basic networking.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage workload with minimal supervision.
• Flexible and adaptable to new sites and situations.
• Physically fit for demanding fieldwork in diverse environments.
