Installation Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Manage projects from initial survey through to final approval.

• Create designs for systems utilizing CAD and PLC technologies.

• Pre-assemble control panels for efficient installation.

• Install and commission electrical, mechanical, automation, and SCADA systems.

• Engage in research and development for telemetry, remote monitoring, and innovative environmental technologies.

• Implement automated systems for environmental protection.

• Perform system audits, enhancements, and repairs as needed.

• Work collaboratively with engineers, contractors, clients, and suppliers.

• Execute projects throughout the Midlands and South Yorkshire, including travel and remote deployments.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possess electrical qualifications (Level 3 NVQ C&G or equivalent).

• Demonstrated experience in delivering engineering installations within environmental or industrial contexts.

• Proven hands-on experience in engineering installation.

• Familiarity with BS EN 858-2:2003 and BS 7671 – 18th Edition standards.

• Understanding of industry standards and best practices.

• Strong organizational and problem-solving capabilities.

• Hold a valid UK driving license.

• Openness to travel as required.

• Competence in conducting high-standard surveys of mechanical, electrical, and environmental assets.
